Type Tigrinya the way it should feel — Eritrean standard, the phonetic flow Eritreans already know, and Tigrinya voice typing built in.
Windows & Mac — coming.
Voice is optional. After installing, you can remove the voice pack any time inside the app — Settings → Voice — to free its space. Typing stays complete without it.
One keyboard for Tigrinya and English, made for Eritrean Tigrinya first.
The phonetic typing way Eritreans have always known — the traditional Tigrinya standard, carried from paper to phone. Type bun, get ቡን. No relearning, no shortcuts that fight you.
Tap the microphone and talk — your words land in Fidel, in Tigrinya or English, following the keyboard you're on.
While you type, the third slot shows the translation — English to Tigrinya, or Tigrinya to English.
Internet is precious at home. Download once, then pass the file phone to phone — Bluetooth, memory card, shop to customer. No internet is needed again to install or to type.
LARGE — full Lsan with voiceToo big? Shrink it later: the voice inside the LARGE file can be removed from inside the app — open Lsan, go to Settings → Voice and delete the voice pack. The space comes back, and typing stays complete.
Smaller file on its way: a light typing-only version (no voice pack) is being prepared for places where every megabyte counts. Sellers: start with the LARGE file above — it is the complete Lsan.
Two stages. Stage 1 switches Lsan on. Stage 2 switches to Lsan — the stage people miss, so watch the picture, then follow the steps.
Tap the Android button above and let the download finish completely — Wi-Fi is best for a big file. Open the file and tap Install. If Android asks permission to install from your browser or Files app, allow it.
Find Lsan Tigrigna in your apps and open it once.
Lsan takes you to Android Settings. Turn Lsan Tigrigna ON. Then come back here — Stage 2 is the important part.
Enabling is not switching. Do this in any app where you type:
WhatsApp, Messages — anywhere you type. Tap the box so a keyboard opens.
Samsung: tap the keyboard icon at the bottom-right of the bottom bar.
Pixel & most others: tap the globe or keyboard icon at the bottom of the keyboard.
No icon? Pull down from the very top of the screen, then tap “Change keyboard”.
A list of keyboards opens. Tap Lsan Tigrigna. The Fidel keyboard appears — done. Your phone remembers Lsan.
